Alex Harris, owner of Brite Star Construction, said he named his newest project after “The Marquesas Islands” which are a group of islands off Key West, Florida where the Gulf of Mexico meets the Atlantic Ocean. Just as these two great bodies of waters create some of the best fishing in the world, combining these two types of construction (town homes and garden homes) will create some of the most affordable coastal homes on North Padre Island. The advantages of a garden home are outdoor living space, fenced back yards, covered patios and private entrances. The advantages of a town home are shared cost savings in maintenance cost, landscaping, insurance and the building each under a single roof with fire rock between tenant separation.. The pool is planned to be constructed when the 3 rd building is near completion. And, after the pool, the second phase will include the remaining 16 units.
